Ultimately it is our hope that in all that we do at Emmaus, we are pointing ourselves and others to the only one who matters in this world~Jesus Christ. He is the one who lived a sinless life, died the death we deserved, and rose again to prove His victory over Satan, sin and death. We want to see many more people come to know Him, to worship Him, to serve Him, and to tell others about Him. If that is not clear to you as you visit our church please let someone know. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions please tell us.
Please join the congregation for our worship service in the beautiful park beside the James River. Invite your family and friends to attend this annual event.
We ask that you bring your own chair, a drink to share and
f your last name begins with A – J bring a dessert and K – Z bring a side dish.
The church will provide plates, napkins, utensils, cups, a cooler of ice and fried chicken.
Mark your calendars for the 11th and remember no Sunday School classes will be held that day. The shelter is #3 and located by the river.
When you arrive at the park, let the attendant know you are with Emmaus Christian Church.
We look forward to meeting with you as we praise and worship the Lord, then fellowship and share a picnic lunch together.
We are paying for parking, so no need to worry about that.
We will soon be serving Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee during our Sunday fellowship time. It is more than just a new coffee, it is also a ministry.
